The Urgency Room Vadnais Heights Walk-In Care Guide
The Urgency Room in Vadnais Heights is a walk-in care facility on County Road E, staffed by providers who also work in Minnesota hospital emergency departments. It sits 1.06 miles from Andrade Law's Saint Paul office on County Road D and 1.44 miles from the I-35E/I-694 interchange. If a crash left you hurt but not in an ambulance, it's one of the closest places to get examined and documented the same day.

The Facility
What the Urgency Room Is
The Urgency Room is a walk-in facility built around emergency-level diagnostics. It has an on-site CT scanner, X-ray, ultrasound, and a high-complexity lab, spread across 12 private treatment rooms and 2 procedure rooms. The providers who see you also staff Minnesota hospital emergency departments.
One honest limit: there is no MRI on site. CT, X-ray, and ultrasound cover a lot of same-day crash imaging, but if your care team decides you need an MRI, it will happen at another facility.
Hours
Hours and Getting Seen
The doors are open 8 am to 9 pm, every day of the week, including weekends. You walk in during open hours; no appointment. Plan to arrive before the 9 pm close — this is not a 24-hour facility.
For problems that may not need an in-person visit, the Urgency Room also offers online care from 8 am to 8 pm.
The Paper Trail
Imaging and Records After a Crash
If you walked away from a crash without an ambulance ride, same-day imaging is the most useful thing this building offers. CT and X-ray are on site, and ultrasound is available starting at 9:30 am. The high-complexity lab means blood work happens here too.
That matters for your health first. It also matters for your claim. Records created close in time to a crash — imaging, provider notes, lab results, discharge instructions — describe your injuries in medical language, dated the same day the injury happened. When an insurer later questions when or how you were hurt, that dated record speaks for you.
Gathering and reading those early records is part of the way I document injuries in auto accident cases. You focus on getting examined; with your signed authorization, requesting the records becomes my job.

Not every injury runs through this building. For walk-in orthopedic care on the east side of the metro, I keep a separate guide to Summit Orthopedics' walk-in injury care in Woodbury.
